Moving on to slightly later in life...
Around that time I moved to the UK for high school, one of the best decisions I've ever taken. Not only did I improve my English and got to soak up a new culture, but I went through an incredible journey of self-discovery and made some great friends along the way.
In high school I got into tech; particularly toying with lightweight Linux distros. I did my CompSci Project on a 2D Air Traffic Control game (not the best project, but a cool experience). However, my fave project was more low-level systems/electronics: the building blocks of an 8-bit CPU.
I then attended Loughborough University, studying Computer Science with a Minor in Business Management (finishing w/ Magna Cum Laude). Most of my time was spent around two societies, one being Nightline, a student to student listening service which was eye opening in terms of the importance of mental health.
The other society was LUMotorsport, a Formula Student uni team competing against other unis to build and race a formula car. My final year project was based around the creation of a series of cost-effective projects for the journey from a combustion car to an electric one. *may contain spelling mistakes (final draft)
Currently, back in Spain and doing my EASA ATPL(A). Hope to have it finished by mid 2023! Not too sure what the immediate plan will be then, but hoping to get my Aerobatic Rating, FAA ATP and A320 & A330/A350 type rating. Meanwhile I'm flying an old Archer II and loving it!
At the same time, I'm working at Marple, an awesome tech startup that provides cloud based visualization and analysis software for test and R&D data for agile engineering teams over the cloud.
That's about it for now. When I do more cool stuff I'll make sure to
write it here!
